Although the photographs in this book could have been taken any year, the restrictions imposed due to the Covid 19 pandemic provided opportunities to take more time to enjoy and wonder anew at God’s awe-inspiring Creation - either from my house or the surrounding environment.

It has been a delight to watch the birds and note their different characteristics and the beautiful design of their feathers - also to see the wild flowers emerge as winter passed and to watch squirrels scampering about in the wood. Occasional trips further afield, as restrictions lifted from time to time, were appreciated more than ever.

I am fortunate to live in a village bordering the countryside outside Dundee in Scotland; so have been grateful to have so much ‘on my doorstep”.
