Fearghas MacFhionnlaigh is a retired art-teacher in Inverness. The meaning and glory which infuses Creation is the dominant theme of this poetic sequence, the full English version of which has not been hitherto published. The author’s mother was a talented soprano singer with a deep appreciation for the natural world. She died of cancer in November 1989, having just turned 59.
