In January 1990, 7-year old Ciaron MacFhionnlaigh was struck by a virus in the brain. This paralysed him for three months and threatened him with severe mental and physical handicap. This book takes Ciaran’s story to 1993. In the four years since then he has continued to make encouraging, if gradual, progress. He still enjoys attending Riding for the Disabled; he is keen on judo (and all things oriental); he draws a lot, and well. He is now a pupil at Millburn Academy, Inverness.
